World of Warcraft Goblins
WOW Cataclysm Goblins
Goblins were announced to be the new race to join forces with the Horde in the newest expansion to World of Warcraft: Cataclysm and many players were curious how they will look like, how they will sound, will they be fun to play. Eventually 7th December 2010 came and players were finally able to make Goblin character and learn more about this fun, tiny, green and oh-so-smart race.
Goblins from the Bilgewater Cartel decided to no longer follow the tradition to be neutral with rest of the World of Azeroth and joined forces with the Horde. They swore to follow Thrall and obey his decisions after they were forced to search new home as a result of the large scale cataclysmic event which pretty much destroyed their previous home city of The Undermine.
The Bilgewater Cartel is one of the most powerful trading companies on the World of Azeroth and their main seat is on the Isle of Kezan. From there they control pretty much all the trade over the South Seas and are gaining influence, making money and well…making even more money. Their leader, Trade Prince Gallywix can be found in Kezan, the starting zone for the Goblin, but Goblins in general are not so much about the authority and are more interested to mind their own business, blow up stuff and the usual activity – getting richer.
If the players choose to create one of these small green guys and try out the Goblin, they cannot choose to be Paladin or Druid, but they can create any of the other 8 classes – Death Knight, Mage, Warlock, Priest, Shaman, Warrior, Rogue and Hunter.
Goblin racial traits are living up to the real nature of this fun race – Best Deal Anywhere will always give the goblin the best possible discount regardless of the faction; 1% increased attack and casting speed gives the Goblin a slight upper hand in both melee and magical damage combat; Free rocket belt with attached to it rockets which the Goblin can now and then fire at his or her enemies and personal banker to go with it complete the extra bonuses picture for this race. Mixing various ingredients into powerful explosive mixture provided Goblin with additional 15 Alchemy skill when they appear to the World of Azeroth.
Who Else Wants to Level Faster than the other Players?
I believe that Goblin is very fun race to play, especially if you have heard the way they speak and seen the way they move. Their racial mount – Trike or Turbo-Trike if you are richer and can afford it, looks extremely entertaining and is awesome addition to the game. My impression of the new Horde race is that Blizzard and their creative team have done excellent job, with huge sense of humor and have put in a lot of effort in making this race fun and interesting to play.
